After a few years in the investment banking world, Andrew decided he’d had enough and quit to start his first eCommerce business. He’s been at it full-time ever since and has subsequently started and sold numerous eCommerce stores. Andrew is particularly experienced with bootstrapping stores to seven figures, business exits, SEO, organic and content marketing and community building.

Padraic went to school for Architecture but caught the eCommerce bug in the early 90s and built his first store in CGI. He eventually left Architecture to start an eCommerce development company. Over the next 15 years, he built over 500 sites for businesses all over the world.

When he isn’t making sure eCommerceFuel is running smoothly, Padraic enjoys Boston Bruins hockey, music, home improvement projects, sci-fi/fantasy novels, hiking the New Hampshire 48, and the great outdoors.

Dana is a connector at heart. Educated as a speech-language pathologist and experienced in ed tech sales, she ultimately found her tribe with entrepreneurs. She helped her husband build a company for online high school math practice and created her own company to make it easier to be thoughtful and send gifts. Dana loves to help people feel valued and connected with others. 

When she’s not working, Dana is trying to keep up with her two kids and all the pets, reading, doing yoga, or watching *good* shows and movies.

Audrey has been producing events for associations, B2B, B2C, MLMs, government, festivals, and non-profits for over 15 years. Five of those years were spent running her own event strategy business before joining the eCommerce Fuel team. When she’s not scouting out cool venues, vendors, and activities, you’ll most likely find her exploring a new place, applauding a cool performance, or trying out something unique.

Sheral here and I am based in the Philippines. I have a degree in Journalism and have been working with Andrew for over a decade now. This is the first job that I ever had right after graduation.

I’m pretty much your all-around team member. I (mostly) do customer service, onboarding of members, moderation of the directory, and preparing portions of the newsletters. I also do a little photo editing, spreadsheet management, and research, along with other tasks that come along the way. Being in this industry for over a decade now, I can say that I have mastered the art of research, asking questions, and self-taught skills. When I am assigned something that is new to me, I do my own research and/or ask questions to the right people to help me figure out how things should be done correctly. I am forever grateful to be a part of this amazing team here at ECF!

When I am not working, I spend my free time taking photos, watching movies, reading books, or you’ll find me in another town doing missionary work.

Tim writes the code here at eCommerceFuel. His primary role is building new features for the eCommerceFuel directories and squashing those pesky bugs that appear from time to time. When he isn’t writing code, Tim enjoys spending time outdoors—especially fly-fishing, hiking, and camping—with his wife and three children.

A coder and photographer for more than 30 years, Susan is involved with the site design, coding, product photography, video, UX, copywriting, marketing, and integration of apps, connected services, and back-end systems for a number of eCommerce sites she owns or manages. Selling online for over 20 years, beginning in the days of BBS and dial-up internet, her first eCommerce store was launched in 2001, AntiqueJewelryMall.com on the Yahoo Store platform, which they migrated to Shopify in 2016.

Things she enjoys (in no particular order):
Old Mercedes Cars, Poodles, Photography, Coding, Fishing, Off-Road 4×4 Camping (do people call this overlanding now?), Gelandewagens, her electric bike, Comedy, Cooking, Jewelry Design, and just about any automotive related events big or small (new and old car shows, auctions, concours, rallies, racing, etc.)

Dwight has worn many hats in various Fortune 500 companies. From sales associate working his way up through executive positions, there are very few jobs Dwight hasn’t been exposed to. His industry experience ranges from retail, logistics, telecommunications, networking, call centers, and various other industries focused on technology. Dwight is no stranger to starting over after going through multiple company restructurings and acquisitions. This was the driving force in Dwight’s decision to become an entrepreneur where he could control his own future.

Dwight started Shop In Today from the ground up well over a decade ago with a strong focus on B2B. All his past work experience has prepared him to run his own company with few surprises. He’s always on the lookout for the next SAAS tool to further automate his business. Dwight’s strengths are in B2B, logistics, warehousing, automation, manufacturing, management, and operations. His biggest passion is helping fellow entrepreneurs overcome obstacles in their own businesses.

With 25+ years in web design and development, Chris divides his time between his own eCommerce store at replacementtablelegs.com (9+ years) and is Director of Ecommerce for a fellow ECF member managing several stores and VAs around the world that do the heavy lifting.

In the forum, Chris is really interested in asking and answering technical questions related to web development, SEO/SEM, page speed, and ADA Compliance. He’s a huge fan of ECF Live too!

Rob has spent the majority of his career in the music industry. His roles have included everything from music retail sales to performing at countless terrible bar shows and festivals, to directing music at churches.

After starting his first e-commerce business in the sports and outdoors niche and quickly flipping it, he combined his love for eCommerce with his love for music. Now Rob runs multiple websites that revolve around his passions. He helps other brands grow their online presence through Amazon listing optimization and advertising and develops new products for the music industry that he releases under his own brands.

Rob lives in Seattle, WA, and enjoys spending time with his wife and young son, watching hockey, and of course – playing guitar.

Don is a true eCommerce pioneer having started his journey online in 1999 selling of all things… shower curtains! As a programmer-turned-store owner, Don took his experience with owning and operating an online store and built one of the largest online community forums of fellow eCommerce entrepreneurs that was a vital source of information for over 15 years.

With his programming skills and subtle nudges from other store owners, Don founded a web design and programming company called Your Store Wizards which is celebrating 20 years of serving the eCommerce community. Today, as the Mad Wizard, he is constantly brainstorming new ways for store owners to connect with customers while leading a team whose goal is to “solve complex eCommerce problems” on the Shopify, BigCommerce and Yahoo! Small Business platforms.

Marshall began his e-commerce journey in 1996 when he developed a website for a client selling an Ayurvedic hair growth product. His journey has been dotted with design, development, SEO, and online marketing experience across many industries from travel & tourism to petroleum products, and everywhere in between.

In 2014 he left the corporate world to start SOCKBOX – an online Sock of the Month club that has delivered thousands of socks across Canada, and in 2020 expanding worldwide. The Sock Lovers Advent Calendar™ is one of a kind, and exclusive to SOCK BOX. It may appear to be socks that Marshall has a focus on, but it’s actually the customer experience. Since day one a high-touch experience has differentiated the brand and elicited a feeling of happiness and excitement in the customer.

I’m Sonia Roselli, an experienced esthetician and makeup artist who got my start in the beauty industry in Chicago. Now based in Austin, Texas, I’ve spent over three decades working with a diverse range of clients, from A-list celebrities to everyday women.

I’m passionate about enhancing women’s natural features and created a skincare line specifically for women over 40. I’ve built my business through social media and have a community of engaged customers and brand ambassadors. When I’m not working, I love spending time with my furry friends and my husband.

Carson is a certified Shopify Plus partner and has worked with Shopify since it was in beta. He is also the founder of Fuel Made, a high-end eCommerce strategy, design, and development agency focused exclusively on helping eCommerce companies grow on the Shopify platform.

Jeff is the founder of 180 Marketing, an SEO company focused exclusively on eCommerce SEO. Over the past 10 years, Jeff has worked on over 250 SEO campaigns for both small startups and large enterprise brands such as MasterCard, Belkin, and PolyCom. He was a speaker at the IRCE in Chicago and has contributed articles to Forbes, InternetRetailer.com, and other publications. He is also the founder and owner of link outreach tool LinkHunter.com.

John is an eCommerce attorney and founding partner of Revision Legal, a law firm focused on businesses that make money online. He has also served as an adjunct professor of Internet and trademark law for Michigan State University College of Law. John helps eCommerce merchants understand emerging legal issues, acquire and sell businesses, and protect their intellectual property rights.

As Vice President of Client Operations at TaxValet, Alyssa Martin brings over six years of dedicated service to the company, leading with a focus on operational excellence and client-centered service. In her role, Alyssa oversees the development and execution of strategic initiatives that streamline tax compliance processes, ensuring that every client experience is efficient, accurate, and tailored to their needs. Known for her expertise in team management and process optimization, Alyssa is instrumental in driving TaxValet’s growth and maintaining a high standard of service across all client engagements.

One moment changed everything…Eight years into designing customer experiences for Apple Retail, he watched a close friend click “send email” and generate $120,000 in less than 30 minutes. Ever since, Daniel’s been obsessed with creating breathtaking customer experiences with direct response strategies, compelling copy, and design that converts. Now the founder of Loyal Tribe, a Klaviyo Agency, he is dedicated to helping store owners educate, entertain, and entice their customers to buy without constantly paying Zuck, Bezo, and Larry/Sergey for the privilege.

Joshua started selling direct on Amazon in 2017. He hated product sourcing, resolving supply chain issues, and product development, but loved Amazon. He dropped the retail business and moved into consulting, finding that he loved becoming an expert in all things Amazon and helping others. Since then he’s built a 30-client agency with 15 full-time staff all over the world. He has an abundance mindset and believes adding value for others is the way to go!

Kevin Williams, a seasoned executive and AI expert, is the driving force behind MadBrains.ai. Ori started selling Chinese Woks on eBay in 1997. Since then he developed a Network (ISNstores.com) of eCommerce sites that run on a proprietary back-end with a single login. He also owns 2 other businesses; Ordan Thermal, a supplier of Industrial Heat Processing Equipment, and Chain Guard Lubricants, a non-hazardous chemical business that focuses on supplying Food Grade Lubricant to Industrial Food Processors; mainly industrial and wholesale bakeries. They recently launched a Chain Guard eCommerce presence, and hope to by end of 2020, turn on a store for Ordan Thermal.

His areas of expertise are B2B, software development, marketing, and manufacturing.

Meredith Erin is the co-founder at Boredwalk, a Los Angeles-based lifestyle brand. She has expertise in tech and software, email marketing, and social media. She comes up with creative marketing and product ideas for Boredwalk and co-creates the brand’s output with her partner Matt Snow.

In her free time, Meredith enjoys mixology, b-horror movies, hiking, cooking, mycology, road trips, low brow art, going to the desert, and boxing.

Matt is the co-founder and Chief Creative Officer at BoredwalkTShirts.com. His duties include (but are not limited to) product design & development, ad creative and copywriting, managing all paid social for Boredwalk on Instagram and Facebook, PPC ad management, email marketing, and co-hosting and producing The Boredwalk Podcast.

In his free time, Matt enjoys watching the Baltimore Orioles play baseball, cooking plant-based food, listening to a wide variety of music, and making fun of bad reality shows and cheesy horror movies with his wife and co-founder Meredith and their two cats Oliver & Bigby.

Alan owns a successful 7-figure eCommerce business on his own highly customized version of Magento. Throughout building his business he’s come to understand the various strengths, weaknesses, and many idiosyncrasies of one of the most powerful – and complex – carts available. His deep knowledge of the platform has made him our Community’s go-to source for all things Magento.

Miracle opened Hip Undies many years ago and like many longtime eCommerce merchants, was negatively impacted by Google’s algorithm updates. To combat the loss of organic traffic, she delved into Facebook advertising. Miracle has become an established expert in the field, having spoken on the topic as a keynote speaker at multiple industry events. Miracle is Facebook Blueprint Certified and is also an official Facebook Marketing Partner.

Eric is the founder of Beardbrand, a men’s grooming company with products for beards, hair, and bodies. Eric and his team were able to bootstrap Beardbrand to seven figures in sales in just two years. Through their mission-focused communication strategy, Beardbrand has appeared on Shark Tank as well as having been covered by The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, and many other national media outlets.

Rex Bledsoe is an avid fly fisherman and CEO of Aqua Design, an outdoor activewear brand located in Idaho. He has over 18 years’ experience in e-commerce and “field-tests” on the water as much as possible.

Bill is the founder and CEO of Elements Brands, which acquires and scales consumer producers brands online. Bill has been selling online for over 10 years, and Elements Brands employs 40+ people in Charlotte, NC doing everything from pick/pack to Facebook ads to supply chain optimization. He is an expert in incentive systems and organizational design and is building Elements Brands into a premier employer for digital and CPG talent.

Kevin turned his nostalgia for the toys of his youth into a business in late 1999 by selling t-shirts from He-Man and the Masters of the Universe on eBay. By early 2000 that turned into www.80sTees.com. Since 2000 his site has sold millions of t-shirts and his business has undergone major transformation while constantly adjusting to the changing eCommerce landscape.

Kevin is a fan of high margins and Facebook advertising and dislikes celery and overloading his site with Shopify apps. He stays off of all marketplaces and lives and dies with his eCommerce store. While he runs a Shopify store, he refuses to call his site “a Shopify” because he is old enough to remember that eCommerce existed before they did.
